We understand that having a new baby at home can be challenging. Leaving the comfort of your home for a photoshoot can seem daunting. That’s why we offer the convenience of an in-home newborn session. With us, you can enjoy a stress-free photoshoot while staying in your home.

We travel all over Eastern North Carolina to bring our studio to you and provide a one-stop studio experience. Your session takes place two weeks after your baby is born. We bring props, wraps, and everything needed for your newborn session, creating a mini studio in your home. Newborn sessions are simple and lifestyle-oriented, capturing the true essence of your family in the comfort of your safe space.

The process

Booking an in-home newborn session is simple; all you have to do is get in touch and schedule a consultation, during which we will go over pricing and dates. We will schedule your session a week after your due date but will adjust the date as needed to secure the session. There is a $ 200 fee that secures your date and the photographer’s session fee, which is the expertise fee. As a thank you for choosing me, you will receive a $100 print credit with a minimum purchase of $250. That means you can acquire some truly exceptional prints at an amazing value.

Session information:

I offer timeless newborn portraits that will be treasured for years to come. I use high-end newborn props, organic fabrics, wraps, headbands, and all the necessary items you see newborns in. Each family gets their unique session design to create authentic portraits that celebrate their baby’s birthday and preserve beautiful memories.

When I arrive at your home, I will take a look at each room and clear out a small space where I will set up the studio. During the session, we will use multiple rooms in your home for various setups and can also step outside for a beautiful outdoor look.

Getting ready for a photo shoot is easier than you might think! First, make sure to open up your windows to let in plenty of natural light. Then, tidy up any areas you plan on using for the shoot. Finally, keep your home cozy and warm at around 75-76 degrees Fahrenheit. By following these simple steps, you’ll be all set to capture some amazing photos!

After your session

After your newborn session, I will send you an email with available dates for a reveal appointment. During this appointment, you will have the chance to see the soft-proof photos and choose your favorite ones. You can also order products, prints, and digital images at this time. After the appointment, it will take 2-3 weeks for the final products and images to be delivered to you.
